Still suffering from amnesia, Cordy summons a demon to try to regain her memory. It doesn't go as planned, and she finds herself in an alternate reality where Angel and Buffy never broke up, the Scoobies are dead and Adam controls the Hellmouth. Angel finds himself drawn to Cordelia's story of a universe where he had a mission and a son, while his relationship with Buffy starts to implode. I loved the look at how things could have gone in another universe - people who lived instead of died, and vice versa - and this has one of the best treatments of Riley I've read. Faith/Riley isn't the main pairing, but it's worth reading anyway.
