The... guh... I mean... Hang on, let me back up. You have to read this novel. Even if you don't like the pairing. Even if you hate the pairing so much you spend your weekends hunting down Giles/Oz shippers like dogs (by the way, stop that, my boss is asking questions about the blood on my clothes). The premise is this: In the summer between season 1 and 2, Giles and Oz meet at the school library and become, well, close. In the naked sense. It's deep and complex and completely breath-taking, and Glossolia needs to change the names and get it published.
