Lilah Morgan arrives in Spike's crypt to make him a tempting offer. Interspersed with conversation and sex with Lilah we get flashes of Spike's past - except rather than the fanfic standard of exploring his relationships with Drusilla and Angelus (although they both get a mention), this goes the unusual route of probing his feelings for 'great-grandmother' Darla. Lilah/Spike is a pairing I never would have considered, but the writing here is astounding. The second person viewpoint fits the style perfectly.
