Sort-of FAQ
But first, a Public Service Announcement. There are lots of R and NC-17 fics linked. I haven't put ratings on any fic. If you're under 18, please find somewhere more age appropriate. A lot of these authors could get into trouble with their ISPs, and I don't want any moms ranting at me for pushing smut to young 'uns.
Some of the stories recced contain incest. It's fairly obvious which pairings these are, but I've warned for them on the relationship pages anyway.

What sort of stuff do you read?
I want a t-shirt that reads "fandom whore: will read anything". I'll read insanely long gen epics or one-page fluffy shippy pieces. Some of my recs are in quite... unconventional pairings. Ultimately my slightly insane goal is to have recced something decent for every possible pairing. Since that's well over three hundred without even going into the minor characters it's not likely, but I can dream, right? So, what's recced already? Well, there's gen, het, slash, character studies, parodies, PWPs, angst, darkfic, schmoop and, err, implausible fantasy AUs. But those are on their own page so they can be ignored or discreetly looked at when nobody's watching, porn-magazine fashion.
As of this moment, about half of the recs are Spuffy, because when I started the old site that was my focus, and because there are just so many stories out there based around that pairing.
At one time I did have a list of pairings that I read, but it numbered about fifty couples, so I think "will read anything" should suffice. There are a bunch of 'ships I don't have nearly enough recs for yet (Spike/Xander for one), so bear with me.
What sort of stuff don't you read?
In a word: songfic. Unless it's really good songfic. There used to be a long list here or pairings or characters or concepts that squicked or didn't interest me. Now I say, bring it on.
Why haven't you recced X story by author Y, as it's a classic that redefined its genre, etc?
I probably haven't gotten around to reading it yet. My "to read" list is long, my attention span regrettably short.

Most likely everyone reading this will hate at least some of the stuff I loved. Different strokes and so forth.
